Born Dec. 27, 1937, in Burlington, Wis., he passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009. Bill graduated with a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, an M.F.A. in art from the University of Wyoming and an M.F.A. in drawing from Northern Illinois University. He taught art at Forest View and Wheeling High Schools from 1974 to 1994. As a professional artist, his works were exhibited in more than 140 shows nationwide. Bill is survived by his cherished wife, Carol; and loving sons, Kurt, Scott (Antje) and Chadd (Christy). He was also the cherished grandfather of Liam.
