Brother Krygiel was a member of Chi Delta Rho when they transitioned to Lambda Chi Alpha in 1965. Martin was Lambda-Iota’s first Social Chairman (High Epsilon) and that is denoted by the winged torch hanging between the badge and the badge guard.
A great time was had by everyone in attendance at the 2008 Fraternity Reunion at the Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells on July 16, 2008.
From my count there were nearly 30 Chi Delta Rho, Delta Kappa and Lambda Chi Alpha Brothers from pre-1970 who attended the luncheon. The guys are looking forward to next year’s reunion and hope for an even bigger crowd and newer members to attend, as well!
When you tune into the Olympics this year, be sure to set your DVR for Men’s Beach Volleyball. Brother Phil Danhausser, originally from Switzerland, attended the University of Central Florida where he joined the Beta-Eta Chapter. While in school, Phil played volleyball and earned the “Most Valuable Player” award before graduating with a Business Degree.
The 6’9″ Olympian is partnered with beach volleyball veteran Todd Rogers and has a very good shot at bringing home a Gold Medal for the US Olympic Team.
Keep up to date with U.S.A. Beach Volleyball and Phil Dalhausser by checking this site.

Thanks to all my boys who who were able to make it to the Milwaukee Ale House for dinner, whilest I was in town for the evening. It was great to catch up with all my guys…picking up like we are still living down the hall from one another.
Are you going to the show? Do you want to go to see Dave?
Comment to this post or email the site and we will get your name added to the list.
We will make plans to meet up before the show and tailgate…and perhaps meet in the pavilion during the show.
Click the link below to see the running list of Brothers who will be at the Saturday (August 9) show.
I will be in attendance and looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it!
My apologies to everyone, I am unable to attend due to personal reasons that will keep me close to home, tomorrow. I look forward to sharing photos and stories from the luncheon which I hope to have forwarded to the website.

Great Wolf Lodge
This notice is just to make everyone aware of the date ect. The event will be the same, meet before noon, visit, have lunch, visit and then be on our way.
Every one is invited and last year we had 29 Bros and 17 ladies attend. As of now I have heard from Dave Engen that he will be attending. All of you other non Wis[consin] guys make your return trip to be here for the Lunch.
Please reply with your plans to me and I will keep everyone posted, the more attending will encourage others.
All Brothers are welcome at this luncheon. This includes Delta Kappa, Chi Delta Rho and Lambda Chi Alpha members, everyone. Ladies are welcome as well!
The reply is not a reservation so no cost is incurred, and we do not need reservations so you can come by just showing up.
If your name is not on the list below please reply if you are planning on attending. If not send a note for us to read at the lunch. Also Dave Engen is interested in anyone who will be spending the night at the Dells. He is planning on staying. I will see he gets the info if you reply to this msg. Thanks.

Many of you have already received this postcard which asks you to call a 1-800 number to update your information with Lambda Chi Alpha Headquarters. This is a legitimate request, on behalf of our Fraternity. There will be a Centennial Edition of the Alumni Directory published in 2009. When you call the 800 number, you will be asked to give as much or as little information you would like to have printed. From your name, graduation year, profession, marital status, email, etc. Afterward, the customer service representative will ask you if you want to purchase a Lambda Chi Alpha directory (which will arrive in February of 2009). The cost for a hardcover edition is $90, softcover is $70 and a cd-rom version is $40 (? I think). You are not obligated to purchase any of the items to have your information included.
If you do purchase a bound directory, you will be pleased to find a (40 page?) History of Lambda Chi Alpha included inside the book. Lambda Chi Alpha does receive a portion of the money generated from the sale of the directory.
Please make the quick phone call today and update your information.
A big hats off to the Brothers at Lambda Chi Alpha International Headquarters on the new LambdaChi.org website.
The new design is incredibly easy to use! Tabbed browsing makes finding materials on the Lambda Chi site is a snap. Congrats to Brothers Chris Barrick and Tad Lichtenauer on their efforts to complete the site.
Check out the official Lambda Chi Alpha Centennial Logo.
A complete description of the logo continues below.
Through the magic of technology (Google Maps Streetview & PhotoShop) I have pieced together this panorama of 22 Joy Street in Boston, MA.
Lambda Chi Alpha was founded on November 2, 1909 when Warren A. Cole, Percival C. Morse, and Clyde K. Nichols met at 22 Joy St., Boston, and swore allegiance to the new fraternity.
Anyone seen the Lambda Chi Alpha headquarters website? It’s faded to black with just a Coat of Arms on the site…what’s up with that?
Keep checking the site what they are up to!
Recruitment for the Chapter will start this fall and we are looking for names of men that you, our Alumni, feel would be great additions to our Brotherhood!
Do you have a son, nephew, grandson, or brother that is attending UW-Whitewater? Please email with the names of men we should contact.
Perhaps you have a friend or a neighbor who has a relative who is attending Whitewater and would be interested in joining Lambda Chi Alpha…again, please contact and we will help facilitate a meeting with Lambda Chi Alpha recruiters.
As an Alumni of Lambda Chi Alpha you know that Lambda Chi Alpha outlawed the archaic practice of pledging in the 70’s and has since led the way in Membership Programs and Philanthropic initiatives. When a man joins Lambda Chi Alpha, he joins a Brotherhood that is almost 100 Years old and has over 250,000 members world-wide! Our Brothers have found the advantages of Business and Social Networking through Lambda Chi, as well as a life-long committment to Justice, Patriotism, Education and Charity. Help us bring more good men into our Bond of Lambda Chi Alpha. Email today!

We need: ideas for businesses to approach about corporate sponsorship of our local Food Drive, ideas on how to make Food Drive a bigger success than last year, and ways to involve more Brothers in Food Drive.
We have already secured one corporate sponsor for 2008…now is the time to encourage more to donate to the North American Food Drive.
Will you help our Fraternity continue this great tradition? Email us today to help!
