The recolonization effort is in full force. We are now up to 15 dedicated men. The house has been newly landscaped and the front porch has been painted. Everything is going great. Now it is time to celebrate! Come join us and help the cause during homecomeing. The homecoming event will be at the house starting at 9 am. The parade starts at 10 am. Lots of food, snacks and N/A beverages will be provided. There are a lot of new things this year that will be going on. We will be having a cookout after the parade. We also are trying to tie in our recolonization efforts by having a dunk tank, and yes, I will be one of the individuals in the tank. I am not too worried though. If I learned anything from all those years watching Galle, Schreck and Harold play IFC softball, it is that they throw like girls, and they were our best. haha. All money raised by the dunk tank will be given to the food drive for this semester. We will also have empty barrels there for food drop
off. We also will be raffling off two bean bag toss games decorated in Lambda Chi Alpha art with the proceeds going to the housing corporation. One of our main goals this semester, besides continuing our recolonization efforts, is to raise money for the house. We are running low on cash and face losing it next semester without raising about 3 leases worth of income. I am also working on getting some sumo suits. The guys and myself are looking forward to seeing everyone this year! Lets have a blast!
My apologies for the lack of posts in the past few months. Of course we all have been busy doing our own things and I won’t attempt to make excuses.
Know that I will be back trying to post up at least 1 item a week.
Upcoming posts include:
1) A re-cap of the Chi Delta Rho, Delta Kappa, Lambda Chi Alpha summer reunion in the Dells.
2) KIDS! Seems like it’s the summer of love, lots of Brothers welcomed new little ones to their lives.
3) A re-cap of the Lambda Chi Alpha Centennial Celebration in Indianapolis (100 years!)
4) Other interesting developments.
Feel free to post your comments here with any questions/suggestions or gripes you have.
(*Please note, the meeting has been changed from the 16th to June 9th. We at uwwlca.com received the email this morning and want to let everyone know about the meeting change ASAP).

The following is a letter from Housing Corporation President, Don Reinbold regarding a proposed meeting. Please contact Don in regards to your ability to attend the meeting.
Well brothers – I have not heard from more than a single person in regards to the House Corporation and Alumni Assoication Meeting I am trying to scheudle in regards to the future of Lambda Chi Alpha.. That result in and of itself speaks Volumes regarding the chapter rebuilding initiative we began three years ago.
I am calling for a meeting on Tuesday – May 5th in Whitewater or Milwaukee. Besides a change in the By-Laws to protect parties who have secured liability for the Faternity during this rebuilding we will also be discussing new communications from Lambda Chi National that will directly impact our rebuilding efforts and the future existence of Lambda Chi Alpha (And the House) at UW-Whitewater.
I will email a location to all who respond and those that do will control the future and fate of Lamda Chi.
Regards,
Don Reinbold
President Lambda Chi Alpha House Corporation.

Our apologies as the Alumni Association website was down for the last 2 days.
We were in the process of moving the website from one hosting company to another. We had hoped the transition would have been seamless. It wasn’t.
Fuzzy and I continue to enjoy providing this site for all of our Brothers from across the decades. We look forward to sharing stories and information about our organization & Brothers for years to come.
So MANY thanks to Brother Jim Liska for sharing these slides with us! Who knew that scanning slides would be so time consuming! Here are some great photos taken by Brothers Jim Liska, Terry Esrael and others.
You can watch the slideshow here, or click on the images to be taken to flickr.com where you can read the descriptions as they were penned on each slide. My apologies for butchering names, some of them were hard to read. Be sure to keep an eye out for pictures of our mascot Chopper!
Participants left to right: Rob Pfisterer (Bill’s brother), Brother Joe Palmer, Brother Martin Dunbar, Brother Ken Laun, Brother Bill Pfisterer, Dave Morgan (owner of the hunting preserve).
This picture is from Brother Bill Pfisterer. He organized the hunt.
The pheasants were so fat, farm raised, that they could hardly fly. We could have probably caught them by hand. We were much slimmer and faster in those days, but much more hung over!
A big black Pheasant flew over Joe Palmer’s head, he shot at it, and put a hole right through the bird. The hole was the size of a fist, and you could see right through the hole.

This is a completely FREE contest to all UW-Whitewater Lambda Chi Alpha, Chi Delta Rho and Delta Kappa Brothers!
How to play: Everyone who contacts me via email at before Wednesday January 21 will be entered in the contest to win prizes! I will distribute the grid spaces evenly and I will put them in random positions. If there are left over spaces, they will be X-ed out. The grid will be posted here for everyone to see. 2 winners will be selected at half-time and at the end of the game (using those scores). Prizes are each valued at $25+ each. Contest open to Lambda Chi Alpha, Chi Delta Rho, Delta Kappa and Lambda Chi (undergrad) Brothers from UW-Whitewater.
Many thanks to Delta Kappa Brother Charles Wilde for sending us this great photo of the Delta Kappa House at 219 Whiton Street.
Here’s a note from Brother Charles Wilde:
“The photos is of [our] Homecoming house display at our [219] Whiton Street home. It was taken in the late 50s in a year that we played the Eau Claire State College Blue Devils. It was probably 1957 or 1958. I’m not sure if the display was a winner!”
Many thanks to Brother Terry Esrael for sending us this 1967 Lambda Chi Alpha composite. This is the 2nd ever composite of Lambda Chi Alpha at UW-Whitewater.
Check out the first composite appearance of Chopper (in the lower left corner)!
